I remember going to the old time camp meetings with my Grandparents, and I loved listening to the singing, and the good music that they played. One number on this album is very special to me. "Something Got a Hold of Me" It was written by Johnny Bailes of the great Bailes Brothers, and I learned it off an old 78 rpm record that they had recorded at the time. I remember singing it at my Grandparents little Church, with my first guitar.....I guess I was probable eight years old...Anyway it made my Grandparents very proud.

All of the instruments you hear on this CD I played them....HA! In fact every noise you hear on this album I made. Thanks to modern day recorders I was able to lay down tracks and play with each track until it sounds like a full band..I recorded this CD on a MRS 1266 Zoom digtal recorder.

 

 

 

I put three songs on the album that I refer to has Mountain Music, Non electric instruments...I love this kind of music and I believe God does too. For those of you that may purchase this CD I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did putting it together. I chose some of the great old Gospel songs that I learned as a boy and have loved singing thru the years. May God bless you.
